Vadodara: Fire officers on Thursday sealed five physicians in town for flouting fire security standards rather than getting NOC in your fire brigade despite being advised several occasions and threatening patients’ lives.
“While auditing the fire safety standards in physicians, we discovered many not needing security measures set up.
We eliminated 137 such hospitals in the listing of Covid hospitals weekly back and issued them.
A lot have started applying for NOC,” explained Parth Brahmbhatt, chief fire officer.
Dwarkesh Hospital at Manjalpur, Chirag Clinic at Makarpura, Sai Hospital, Chiranjeevi Hospital and also Respicare Hospital are sealed from the fire brigade.
“We sealed physicians nearing the standards and have requested them to not take any new patients.
They could treat current patients,” Brahmbhatt told TOI.
These hospitals will not be permitted to acknowledge any new individual until they fulfill all of the security measures and find the NOC in the fire brigade.
The town observed firing episodes in both government and private hospitals over previous couple of months.
Fire brigade officials along with the police department swung into action and started assessing the safety standards in physicians.
