Gorakhpur: Five people died and four injured after the car and a tractor collided at Ramkola-Kaputangj Road at Kushinagar District on Thursday late at night.
All car residents were residents of Deoria and returned from Kushinagar after attending the program there, police said.
The car carries nine people.
As soon as the car reaches the village of Baghakuti it collides with a tractor that comes from the opposite direction.
The car is upside down and the tractor is divided into two.
