Five Leadnow University Affiliate College get the principal after waiting for years

Lucknow: Five Government Assisted Universities affiliated with Lucknow University received ‘permanent’ principals after a gap of nearly two decades.
While the new principal has taken over at the KaliCharan PG College, Nari Shiksha Niketan, Navyug Holds College, Bappa Sri Narain Vocational PG College and Dav College, the appointment process for the principal at the National PG College and Awadh Girls’ title College is in the final stage.

Many of them have worked without permanent school principals for the past 22 years.

“The appointment of the principal in a university assisted by the last government was carried out by the Higher Education Commission in 1999,” said Manoj Pandey, President of Lucknow University Association College College Association.
He said until June this year only Vidyant PG College had a permanent school principal.
After taking over, the principal said their priority was to fill empty posts, improve infrastructure and obtain accreditation from the National Assessment and Acreditation Council (NAAC).
