Vadodara: Five new cases with Omicron Covid-19 variants are reported in the city on Friday.
These include four with a history of foreign trips.
New cases include a 41-year-old woman from the Nizampura area in the city who has returned to the city of Qatar on December 5.
He has symptoms on December 25 and tested positive Covid-19.
Another woman from 47-year-old Manjalpur was tested positive after returning from United Kingdon on December 28.
He shifted to the hospital and was treated.
He was dismissed on January 4.
Both other cases were a 24-year-old man from Darjipura who had returned to form the US on December 16 and a 26-year-old man from Waghodiya Road who had returned to Canada on December 27 on December 27 on December 27 on December 27.
The man from Darjpura was tested positively on December 27, while those from Waghodiya Road were tested positively on December 29 after they had symptoms.
The only case without a travel history was a 21-year-old woman forming Bardoli who came to visit relatives in Subhanpura on December 28.
He was symptomatic and found positive on December 29.
He recovered after this and went to the US before the results of his genome arrived.
The total number of Omicron cases is now standing at 35 in the city.
