Letter: Five new police stations and additional strength for city police strength will strengthen Diamond City’s protection in the coming days.
The announcement for this effect was made by Minister Pradipshinh Jadeja, during his visit to the city on Sunday.
“The government has approved the recruitment of 1,956 police personnel, which, some have been recruited,” Jadeja said.
Police stations will appear in Vesu, Pal, Althan, Saroli and Utran.
One in Vesu will be carved from the existing UMRA police station.
From the police station there are several regions going to PAL, some areas of Khatodara will go to Althan, while Utran will be separated from Amroli and Saroli will cover several regions at the Puna Police Station in accordance with the plan.
The Minister also announced that 590 places will be covered through CCTV camera networks.
“At present 631 spots are covered by command cameras and police control rooms, while 155 spots are covered under the City City project.
The expansion of the CCTV network will be carried out under the Viswas-2 project,” he added.
The police will get RS 21 Crore funds for the maintenance of existing CCTV networks, Rs 4.21 Crore for vehicle enhancements and equipment.
City police officials split for extraordinary work.
The shields and certificates provided include a police team that prevents 25 attempts to commit suicide since December 2020.
“The police team reached the place within four minutes and prevented suicide,” said Police Commissioner Ajay Tomar.
