Five was killed after consuming liquor at Bihar

Muzaffarpur: At least five people were killed until Friday morning allegedly from the consumption of poisonous hooch at a party in Saraiyya in Muzaffarpur district.
This is the second Hooch tragedy in the state within six days.
On Sunday night, four people died and two fell ill were allegedly from hooch poisoning in two villages under the Guthani police station in the Siwan District.
Now it’s been five and a half years since the ban was forced in Bihar.
In the incidence of fresh muzaffarpur, death took place in rupuli and neighbor village Vishahar Patti under the Saraiyya police station area.
People who were killed were identified as Avanish Kumar (32), Munna Singh (32), Dhiresh Kumar aka Gultu (35), Avinash Kumar RAM (35), all from Rupewa Village and Vipul Sahi (35) from the village neighbor Vishahar Patti.

The Hooch Party is regulated by one Amit Kumar to celebrate his victory as a member of Ward Number 12 at Rupewa Pancayat.

Amit and the other three were arrested in connection with Hooch’s death, police said.

When asked, Muzaffarpur SSP Jayant Kant told Ti by telephone on Friday that death was sure of consumption of poisonous hooch.
“They have all consumed Hooch inside the House of Dhiresh on Wednesday night.
It was a party thrown by Amit after winning the election of Panthayat.
Dhiresh has arranged a bag of liquor and bottles from different locations.
He was interested in displaying muscle strength in the village because of a dispute Land associated with him, “SSP said.
SSP said that Amit and three of his colleagues had been arrested in connection with Hooch’s death.
“We don’t have a report if more villagers are in care or sick because of the consumption of poisonous hooch,” he added.
Overall, at least four Hooch tragedies have been reported in this state until now.
One Ranjeet Kumar Singh (55) was killed on October 12 and one Aman Kumar (25) fell ill from the consumption of poisonous hooch in the village of Bukunhpur under the Rajapakar police station in Vaishali.
One Hooch Death was also reported from Naugacchia, Bhagalpur this month.
