Meerut: Five people, including four women, died in place after their car crashed into a truck on the Meerut-Delhi toll road on Monday morning, police said.
The accident took place at 8 am when the driver of the car lost control of the vehicle, said SSP Prabhakar Chaudhary.
He said five people died in place and an eight-month-old child was injured in the accident.
According to the police, they are all members of the same family.
