Five Yavatmal Youth Sinks on the Kanhan River

Nagpur: Five young people, between 17 and 21 years old, sank on the Kanhan River on Sunday while taking a bath before attending the religious church at the nearest temple, at Amma Ki Daruka, at Old Kamptee Taluka on the outskirts of Nagpur.

Senior Inspector Vilas Kale from the Kanhan police station said the river was not suitable for swimming because the lower part of the river had a dangerous depression, hollow, which could not be measured from the outside.
