Five Yavatmal Youth Sinks on the Kanhan River

Nagpur: Five young people, between 17 and 21 years old, sank on the Kanhan River on Sunday while taking a bath before attending the religious church at the nearest temple, at Amma Ki Daruka, at Old Kamptee Taluka on the outskirts of Nagpur.
None of the children who know how to swim.
The deceased has been identified as Sayyed Arbaz (21), Khwaja Baig (19), Saptaheen Shaikh (20), Ayyaz Baig (22) and Mohd Akhuzhar (21), who have traveled around 230 km from Digras in Yavatmal to attend the religious congregation at Nagpur.

While five young men went to shower, someone was waiting on the banks of the river.
Their seven friends rested in the car.
Senior Inspector Vilas Kale from the Kanhan police station said the river was not suitable for swimming because the lower part of the river had a dangerous depression, hollow, which could not be measured from the outside.
“Children are at least 17 feet from the bank, although no one knows how to swim.
There is a warning board that warns visitors in this place against swimming, showing that swimming can be dangerous.

Eyewitnesses said four friends were truly deep in the river while one was near the bank.

Tehsildar Prashant Sangde said because rain there was a strong current on the river, which also achieved search operations.
Additional SP, Rural Nagpur, Rahul Maknikar said the police had associated with local divers and swimmers to fish the remaining body.
These locals have adequate knowledge of river flow.
The case of unintentional death was registered at the Kanhan police station in the Nagpur countryside.
