PALGHAR: A five-year-old girl was raped in the Board area of the Palghar district in Maharashtra.
In accordance with the information shared by Police Inspector Boisar Suresh Kadam, when the victim suddenly complained of his family’s stomach pain brought him to the nearest hospital for treatment.
The doctor at the hospital confirmed that the girl was sexually attacked.
The victim narrated the entire incident on his mother’s insistence, following a complaint filed at the Boisar Police Station against children under 12 years on Monday night.
The case has been registered under Section 376 of the Indian Criminal Code (IPC) and Act Posco.
The police informed him that given the complaints submitted late at night, the defendant would be detained on Tuesday and sent to the teenage detention house after the investigation.
