New Delhi: Anonymous email for Helpline Anti-Ragging on Sunday claims that during the last few days the first year of the Medical College Government, Amritsar, was subject to Ragging.
The National Anti-Ragging Helpline has registered complaints and has continued the same as the Higher Education Authority on Monday.
Rajiv Devgan, Principal of medical colleges, while confirming complaints, told TII that the Institute immediately secured CCTV recordings for a week, continuing email to the police and Prima Facie, the incident seemed to be competition between groups.
“It looks like a fraudulent email by a group of students.
There is a function on campus which is one of the opposing groups.
We have checked CCTV recordings and did not find no burdens.
We will see this problem.
Someone seems to be misusing the platform,” he said.
Mail, a copy with Toi, claimed that students were asked to remove their clothes and take action intended to embarrass it.
The person in the email said he maintained the identity of hidden students.
In the email, students said: “I am a MBBS student first year.
I want to file a complaint against our direct seniors for Ragging.
For the past few days, they contacted us at 1 morning by saying this was an intro for freshener.
And then it starts to embarrass us …
by using rough words and phrases.
“He then described the graphics actions forced by students to appear.
