WASHINGTON: US Secretary of State Antony Blinken will emphasize the role of the central area of the Association of Southeast Asian (ASEAN) in a virtual meeting with the Foreign Minister Block on Tuesday, a Foreign Department spokesman told the news briefing.
The meeting with the block of 10 members would be the first since the Biden government served in January and came amid fears among diplomats and others that Washington had not noticed an area that was very important to fight his regional strategy to fight stronger increasing China.
