New Delhi: Delhi Development Authority (DDA) is ready to launch a new housing scheme next month and offered will be around 15,000 flats, said source.
The proposal to launch a housing scheme will be brought before the authority at his meeting, is expected to be chaired by LG Anil Baijal this week.
DDA launched a housing scheme earlier this year and the flat planned to be offered in December will be submitted during the previous housing scheme.
The source says that the flat is available in locations such as Vasant Kunj, Dwarka, Jasola and Narella, but most of them will become a one-room flat or for a more economically weaker part.
Flat will cover those submitted in the previous scheme in 2019 and 2014, apart from the 2021 scheme which will come.
The source said that DDA wants to offer a flat that will come only when the real estate sector witnesses better growth in the near future.
The previous housing scheme was launched on January 2, 2021, and saw 22,752 applications for 1,354 flats offered.
Lot lottery for this scheme was held on March 10 for 253 three bedroom flats, 757 two rooms, 52 flats one room and 291 EWS / JATA flats in areas such as Dwarka, Jasola and Vasant Kunj.
Although DDA has carefully chose the clusters at the location ‘sought after’ for a housing scheme in January, a large number of 1,354 flats are returned and pulled again.
However, the submission of the most sought from all – 348 middle income groups (MIG) in the Dwarka sector 16-B cost RS 1.2 Crore each – has been postponed when finishing works on them still on.
While the lot lottery was carried out in March this year, DDA then conducted a smaller lottery than many applicants who were previously stored in the waiting list.
Dda has asked all registered applicants to deposit the number of registration according to their preferences in the form of the DDA 2021 housing scheme on June 30 through the DDA website.
Applicants who registered the waited which failed to deposit the amount of registration needed was not considered for the mini lot download for flats.
