Flights were diverted due to bad weather

Coimbatore: Flights that are bound to the city are diverted to Bengaluru Airport because of bad weather around noon on Wednesday.
Indigo flights that should land at the city airport at 1.20 a night were diverted to Bengaluru Airport because of poor visibility when the rain hit the city at that time.
Flights take off from Chennai Airport at 12:10 a.m.
The flight must float near Coimbatore for some time before the decision was taken by air traffic controllers to divert it to Bengaluru Airport.
Flights land at the city airport at 4.12 afternoon.
The city received a spell of heavy rainfall for more than 30 minutes followed by drizzle.
