Tirupati: The death toll continues to damage Rayalaseema and the Nellore Districts of Andhra Pradesh has surged up from 29 to 41 with 6 bodies taken at Rajambampet Mandal and 2 deaths related to fresh floods reported in Chinnamade Mandal in Kadapa Regency.
Four deaths were reported in the Nellore district on Sunday.
While fifteen bodies have been submitted to the families of the victims, three unknown bodies are in the government of Rajampet Hospital in Kadapa Regency.
Two siblings including a woman who tried to cross the Mandavya River in Chindnamade Mandal was swept away in a strong flow and their bodies were taken near Vandadi Village.
While two including a police officer had reportedly died in Nellore Regency so far, two unknown bodies were taken near the Somasila project on Sunday.
Nearly 44,275 people have been evacuated and moved to 92 relief camps throughout the Nellore district.
