Lucknow: Chairman of the Yogi Adityanath Minister on Monday conducted an air survey of affected areas in Etawah and Auraiya District to review rescue operations and assistance.
After the review, CM meets people affected and distributing relief materials between them.
He then held a meeting with local officials.
CM said a nodal officer and two police personnel had to be appointed for each village affected by the flood.
He added that public representatives must ensure the distribution of rations and assistance and availability of poison anti-snake injection.
“Generators and ships must be available in all villages.
To prevent the spread of disease when flood water recedes, sprinkling bleaching and lime must be carried out.
Chlorine tablets must be distributed in each village to ensure clean drinking water,” he added.
Until there is a danger of flooding, NDRF, SDRF and PAC must be placed in the state, CM said.
In Etawah, CM was told that 20 flood posts were formed where employees worked in three shifts.
Solar light is provided where there is a power failure.
In Auriyya, CM asked Minister of Agriculture, Lakhan Singh Rajput, and the minister was responsible for Auraiyya, Jai Kumar Jaiki, to visit the affected areas.
“There are provisions of RS 4 Lakh compensation in the case of death due to natural disasters.
Administration must find alternative accommodation for those who live near the river because the parts will be flooded every year.
These villages must be shifted to a higher place,” he said .
