Patna: Given the flood water flowing above the red mark, East Central Railway (ECR) canceled 10 trains that use the Rel 1 bridge between Muktapur and Samastipur on Thursday.
It also exerts additional safety staff in place to keep close close on the surface of the water.
According to the Chief Relations Public Relations ECR (CPRO) Rajesh Kumar, a train like Jayanagar-Bhagalpur Special (055553/05554), Jayanagar-Manhari Special (05283/05284), Jayanagar-Rajendra Special Terminal (03225/03226), Samastipur- Darbhanga SPECIAL (05589/05590), and Saharsa-Rajendra Nagar Terminal Special (03227/03228) was canceled on Thursday.
“Route Darbhanga-New Delhi Special (02569), Raxaul-Local Tilak Special Terminus (02545), Raxaul-Howrah Special (03044), Darbhanga-Amritsar Special (05211), and Katra-Kamakhya Special (05556) was diverted on Thursday.
On The other side, Amritsar-Jayanagar Special (04650) was stopped short at Samastipur and Secunderabad-Darbhanga Special (07007) and an estimated-Jayanagar Special (03185) in Baruni, “said CPRO to this reporter, adding that the location is tilated this special terminus-Jayanagar ( 01061) and Amritsar-Jayanagar Special (04652) were stopped short at Muzaffarpur.
4 train services that will be restored from today: the train has decided to restore four-train trail services on different routes under the ecr jurisdiction from Friday.
These include Samastipur-Muzaffarpur Special (05255/05256), Muzaffarpur-Narkatagi Special (05257/05258), Muzaffarpur-Patliputra Junction Special (05253/05254) and Patliputra Junction-Darbhanga Special (05255/05256).
