Siddharthnagar: With the Part Uttar Pradesh wrestling with floods, the Chairman of the Yogi Adityanath Minister on Saturday said the life of every citizen is very valuable and the government stands with everyone in the state.
Overcoming a meeting at Shahpur Bath Parishad in Domariyadiganj Tehsil here, cm said the flood-affected people were provided with rations.
He also asked officials to prepare a list of farmers whose plants were destroyed by flooding so that they could provide financial assistance.
Adyityanath said on Friday that a total of 15 districts in the state had been influenced by the flood – which was witnessed by the third by this year.
He also conducted an air survey of flooded areas in the Gonda, Bahraich and Balrampur district.
CM said on Saturday that for the past two weeks, due to heavy rain in Nepal, the surface of the water on the Rapti River and Burhi Rapti has increased, leading to the nearest area flood.
Every effort is being made to provide assistance to the people of Domariyaganj and Naugh Tehsil.

People affected by floods are given 10 kg of rice, 2 kg of pulses, salt, wheat flour, spices, vegetable oil and other important things.

He said people whose homes were damaged in a flood would be given a new one under ‘mukhyamantri awas yojana’.
“Families affected by floods provided rations and oral rehydration solutions (OR) because they are vulnerable to diseases such as dehydration and diarrhea due to floods.
Dry ransum is given and food is provided through the kitchen of the community,” he said.
The Snake Vacom vaccine and anti-rabies vaccine were supplied to the flood area, he also said.
The minister’s chairman warned people who opposed the spread of diseases that were transmitted through vectors and water after flood water receded and appealed to them to join a special sanitation trip of the state government from September 5 to 12.
