Patna: Even when Air Ganga began to recede from the bottom of Patna on Monday, continuing to flow above the level of danger along the downstream and cross the highest flood sign (HFL) in Gandhi Ghat in Patna, Hathidah and Bhagalpur.

On Monday, Ganga flowed 1.24 meters above the danger level in Digha and 1.74 meters in Gandhi Ghat on Patna.
Also, the water level of 50.34 meters in Gandhi Ghat is still 2cm above HFL.
To add further to relief in Patna, the surface of the Punjun river water has fallen to 1.09 meters above the danger level of 1.60 meters high which is recorded on Sunday.
The flood rate has increased further on the University of Tilka Manjhi Bhagalpur and college and the colony of professors and teachers, in addition to about 50 other regions in the city.
Water pressure has caused a 10-meter violation in Ismailpur-Bind Toli Bund on Subdivisi Naugachhia on Sunday afternoon itself, said Bulletin WRD.
On Monday, the Ganges flood entered the city of Naugachhia, past the culverts.
Block Bihpur, Naugachhia and Gopalpur are also threatened by floods of kosi from the north further.
In South Bhagalpur, along the Bhagalpur-Jamalpur train and the NH-80 section, floods threaten road traffic and train between Bariarpur and the train station.
As a result, the train between Bhagalpur and the Jamalpur train section had been stopped.
