According to officials, building flyovers at identified points will cost GMDA around Rs 420 Crore and more “cost effective” than underpass, which will cost around Rs 470 Crore.
Flyover, which they claim, will also need construction time and lower utility shifts, but can block the visual landscape of the area.
Underpass, meanwhile, is expected to be aesthetic sound but can cause higher development and maintenance costs, more time construction, officials said.
