NEW DELHI: Finance minister Nirmala Sitharaman on Tuesday examined with Infosys officials that the technical glitches which still continue to mar the new revenue tax e-filing portalsite.
Sitharaman, together with ministry of state for fund Anurag Thakur, earnings secretary Tarun Bajaj, CBDT chairman Jagannath Mohapatra as well as other senior ministry officials, also moved point by point on the problems facing the new portal site with officials of Infosys – that the seller which acquired the website.

A day following the introduction of the new portal site, social networking consumers needed flagged glitches from the new e-filing portal into the finance ministry.
After that, Sitharaman chose to Twitter and requested Infosys and its chairman to repair the issue.
