Islamabad: Pakistan said Qatar’s foreign minister would arrive at the capital of Islamabad Pakistan to discuss the latest situation in Afghanistan.
In a statement, the Pakistani Foreign Ministry said the head of the Qatar Diplomat Mohammad bin Abdulrahman Al Thani during his visit on Thursday, Thursday will meet with Pakistani Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi and other top officials.
He said Pakistan and Qatar enjoyed close, friendly relationships.
“The two countries closely collaborate with regional and global problems with shared interests,” said the statement.
Development came two days after the Taliban announced a temporary government for Afghanistan.
The Taliban maintains a political office in Doha.
