Ludhiana: General Waste Treatment Factory (CETP) of 40 million liters per day (MLD) capacity (MLD) for the Carnter Cluster Focal Point, Ludhiana, was inaugurated by the Minister of Industry Gurkirat Singh Kotli on Monday.
This CETP has been built with total RS costs.
84.50 Crore and includes transportation systems about 25 km.
There are 73 recipient dyeing industries located at the focal point, Phase I-VIII, which will benefit from this CETP and is based on the Batch State-of-the Reactor reactor technology.
Welcoming Kotli and others, Ashok Makkar, Chair of the Punjab Dyers Association Thanking the State Government and all relevant departments for their support for this project said that the success of CETP commissioning was the result of the hard work of industrialists.
Makkar also said that with CTP’s commissioning, the Ludhiana coloring industry would no longer be blamed because it polluted Buddha Nall forever.
Professor (Dr.) Adarsh Pal Vig, Punjab Chairperson’s Pollution Control Agency (PPCB), said, “PPCB is working on all the fronts simultaneously for the conservation and rejuvenation of the Punjab river and ecology.
The inauguration of CETP is similar to the inauguration of the temple, religion, monument Historic and is the best service for humanity, environment and society.
