The budget for 2022-23 is likely to rise further, the Ministry of Finance official said.
After the review meeting, Sisodia said the Delhi budget would be special and would grow the economic growth of national capital.
He added that the planning department had carried out several studies and based on his findings, the government tried to understand what innovative ways could be introduced to improve the capital’s economy and increase employment opportunities.

“The need for all the population of the country will be remembered when preparing this year’s budget, which will help them recover from the economic crisis led by a pandemic,” Sisodia said.
