Focus on Mask Discipline, Social Distance Norms

Coimbatore: City Corporation has intensified inspections in public places, including commercial hubs, to ensure the use of masks and social blasphemy.
The loss of corporate officials popped up after 215 positive Covid cases was reported on Friday, compared to 165 on Thursday.
The teams led by sanitation inspectors, carrying a public announcement system, reminded people about preventive measures.
Like 228 cases of mask violations were recorded on Friday and Rs 39,200 was well collected, official said.
“Of the 178 commercial companies examined, violations were found in 51 and RS 32,300 were well collected.
While the total RS 60,700 was gathered well on Thursday, Rs 71,500 was collected on Friday,” he said.
Where five zones in the city, the eastern zone recorded more cases of mask violations.
“A total of 144 cases of mask violations were recorded in the zone on Thursday and Friday.
The central zone recorded the number of cases of mask violations at least in 55 in two days.” Health officials plan to check more commercial companies in the coming days.
“We also check the status of vaccination of company employees.
The state government has ordered that unwavusted staff should not work, which will pose a threat to customers,” the official added.
