Patna: The former Head of the Minister of BIHAR and the Prasad Yadav and 21 were accused of another appearing in front of the CBI Special Court here on Tuesday in one of the famous RS 900 animal feed fraud.
This case was related to the alleged withdrawal of rs 46.98 lakh fraud from the Bhagalpur Regency Department on behalf of the purchase of animal medicines between the 1994 period of 1994 to 1996.
This is the case alone from a delayed scam fodder in Bihar, according to CBI sources.
The CBI has submitted a chargesheet against 44 accused of March 31, 2003 in this case and the FIR was registered on May 15, 1996.
Half the defendant had died during the trial still at the stage of evidence.
Then it was the only one who appeared physically before the court while the remaining 21 was accused of others represented by their lawyers.
Even though it was sick, it appeared physically, but he had freedom from the court to be represented by a lawyer because of his health condition.
Among other major defendants who emerged before the court through their lawyers on Tuesday were former MLA RK Rana, Beck Julius and Fedrick Kerketta.
The source said that the CBI Court-III specifically before the case trial occurred, had ordered on November 16 for the appearance of all accused of knowing their factual status so that it could become clear who was still alive and died.
Among the 22 accusations, leading names are Mahesh Prasad, Nawal Kishore Singh, Phoolchand Singh, Poddar Raghunandan, former CM Jagannath Mishra and K Arumugham.
Special courts have fixed November 30 as the next hearing date in this case.
The trial of this case was affected for a long time because then it could not appear before the Special Court in Patna because of his detention in Hotwar Jail, Ranchi after being punished in the case of other animal feed fraud in Jharkhand.
CBI sources say that there is strong evidence against the past in the case of taking money withdrawn cheating from the Bhagalpur treasury.
“All withdrawals occur on the basis of fake bonding letters and fake medical bills that show the purchase of animal medicines,” said the source.
He said that one Shailesh Prasad Singh was an approval in the case of Bhagalpur.
