Jammu: Indian soldiers on Thursday said that he succeeded in thwarting an infiltration offer by neutralizing a terrorist and recovering the cache of the arm and ammunition, including one AK-47 rifle and hand grenade, along the control sector (LOC) in Nowshera Jammu and Kashmir.
Overcoming a press conference at Nowshera, General Major Rajeev Puri told reporters that on the morning of July 7, a group of terrorists from Pakistan tried to infiltrate the entire Loc.
“The warning of the army troops through the integrated supervision grid and the dominance fire foiled infiltration efforts,” the officer said.
He further added that in the next fight, a very armed terrorist neutralized and his body had also recovered.
“We have also recovered a AK-47 rifle, four magazines, two hand grenades, a large number of arms and ammunition and certain administrative items,” said Puri.
This was reported by the first infiltration effort to control officials after the February 25 agreement maintained a ceasefire in all borders between India and Pakistan.
