New Delhi: The Delhi government has asked all private construction institutions to follow the 14-point guidelines to prevent dust pollution in the city, the Minister of Environment Gopal Rai said on Friday.
The AAP-LED government has held a review meeting with all government-managed agents involved in construction work in Delhi and they were told to submit their action plan to prevent dust pollution on September 21.
“Many private institutions are also involved in construction work in the city.
We hold meetings with more than 50 such companies, including L & T, GMR Group, Raheja Developers, NDMMPL, among others.” This private construction site has been asked to comply with 14 guidelines.

The minister warns the government will take strict action on private institutions that do not follow the norms under the plane action plan.
Under 14 guidelines, construction sites must be borne from all sides using tin warehouses.
Sites that are Measuring more than 20,000 square meters must spread anti-fog weapons.
Vehicles carrying construction material must also be closed.
There should not be a collection of construction and demolition (C & D) waste on the side of the road.
In addition to grinding stones it will not be permitted in the open , the guidelines are stated.
Rai also called for the installation of wind solving walls from the appropriate height around the outskirts of construction locations.

Construction and disassantic waste must be recycled in place or transported to the official recycled facility, he added.
