Follow the norms to celebrate the Festival: Forum

Mangaluru: The meeting of Dakshina Kannada District Dharmika Parisat on Friday suggested that he celebrate the Navaratri and Dasara festival by following the Covid-19 protocol this year too.
Meetings chaired by Minister of Fisheries, Ports and Water Transportation, Angara.
He suggested that people celebrate the Festival at Kiel Katel Sri Durgaparameshwari, Sri Gokarnanatha Kudroli Temple and Mangaladevi Temple by following the Guidelines issued by the Government in 2020.
The minister said that the guidelines issued after the surge in Covid-19 cases last year could also followed this year.
“The third wave of pandemics can cause other locking in the district.
Therefore, we must be careful.
The temple must create awareness about vaccination, and the camp must be arranged at the temple place to analyzen worshipers,” Angara said.
DC K V Rajendra said that the temple must provide an emphasis on the behavior that matches Covid while allowing Darshan and Sevas during the festival.
He also appealed to the Temple Management Committee to take part in the guidelines that will be issued by the district administration for this year’s festival.
At Swachh Bharat Abhiyan will begin on October 2, DC asks for volunteers and worshipers to carry out the drive and collect plastic waste from the temple premise in the district.
