Kanpur: Two family members died while the other three fell ill because of alleged food poisoning in Farrukhabad District Uttar Pradesh on Saturday.
The deceased included a five-year-old boy.
The incident occurred in Jasupur Gadhiya Village under the Rajepur Police Station.
On Saturday night, IRSHAD’s 50-year-old wife Nanhi (45) has cooked cabinet curry consumed by them besides their daughter Majida (18), Rajida (10) and Asif (5).
Their health deteriorates within a few hours after eating curry.
While Irshad and his son Asif died after being treated at Brahmadutt Dwivedi Hospital.
At present, his wife Nanhi, Son Majid and Putri Rajida are said to be in critical condition.
The police visited Irshad’s house and checked the place where food was prepared.
The police confiscated cabinet curry and sent it for forensic examination.
The body was sent to the District Hospital for Postmortem.
It was doubtful that Irshad and his small son died of food poisoning.
However, the police stated that nothing could be said without postmortem reports and cauliflower curry forensic reports.
The police say that all angles are likely to be investigated in detail.
All areas were surprised after the incident.
Dr.
Haridutt Dwivedi from the hospital said doubts that pesticides must be sprayed in cauliflower in the field the day before.
After this, the cultivator sells it to the market the following day.
