For credit schemes, DU entered must be for other Varsity students

New Delhi: While implementing the Academic Bank of Credit Credit (ABC) scheme announced by Prime Minister Narendra Modi from the 2022-23 academic session, Delhi University will conduct entrance tests for students from other universities who are looking for lateral entry but students themselves will be given a door enter.
ABC allows students to collect 50% of their credit programs from universities other than the one he is registered.
Safe! You have managed to throw your voteogin to see the results that will present this format at the Academic Council meeting on August 23.
The University of Delhi’s teacher association opposes it because it means redefining and changing the university system into one school.
Under ABC, now the regulations confirmed, students can collect credit and accumulate them for a period of seven years.
They have the flexibility of collecting 50% of their loans from institutions in the ABC pond and from online, such as Self and use them later even if they decide to take a break from the study.
Minutes of the DU High Power Committee Meeting for Consultations about the implementation of NEP, stated, “It is recommended that some entries and outgoing and ABC entries must be implemented at universities by maintaining the maintenance of educational standards by emphasizing the core of the course at the University and allowing credit to be obtained from other universities in connection with other universities other.

On lateral entries / re-entry Committee added, “For students from other universities listed under the ABC system, the lateral entry of students who qualify will be permitted after the entrance test.
Chairs for lateral entries can be done based on the academic facilities and infrastructure available to view norms -Norma relevant, such as student-teacher ratios, teaching laboratory ratio of non-teaching staff, library learning-learning tools etc.

However, many teachers feel this will destroy the health of higher education institutions and lead to the meaning of the title.
Abha Dev Habib, Physics Teacher at Miranda’s house, Satisfied, “Swayam Regulations, ABC and mixed learning regulations must be seen together.
This means that almost 70% of teaching learning will be online.
Under ABC, a university state student might want to learn one paper from DU, and it will be in online mode.
With an online course, there will be no more concept of student-student ratio, such as in Ignou which serves 44 lakh students.

Rajesh Jha, a political science teacher at Rajdhani College, described ABC as “putting a cart before the horse”.
“ABC has been forced forced at universities under NEP 2020 to increase privatization and contractualization,” alleged Jha.
“This will affect the quality of education at publicly funded universities where half of students come from the categories ordered, including economically disadvantaged groups.”
