Nagpur: The Transport Minister Union Nitin Gadkari on Saturday shows the Bhoomi Puja for the Overbridge of the New Train (Rob) from Kadbi Chowk to Golibar Chowk and Santra Market.
Rob Long 2.82km will cost RS146 Crore.
Maharail (Maharashtra Rail Infrastructure Development Corporation Limited) has been entrusted with the construction of Rob and two-lane subway (connecting Pachpaoli and Bhanekheda Road) to reduce traffic congestion and increase transportation facilities in the very dense Central Nagpur area.
The Minister also displayed the Bhomi of Puja from the work conversion of Itwari-Nagbhid gauges and the other four robbed from the Kalamna market to the city of Nagpur, close to the bus bus standing and Jalan Bypass Umred-Bhiwapur.
All of these works will also be implemented by Maharail.
Gadkari said that he had given RS2,000 Crore sanctions from the Central Road Fund (CRF) for various infrastructure working in North Nagpur, East and Central.
Rob’s work is one of the projects.
It is interesting for the population of Mominpura to expand full cooperation to the Maharail in completing the Rob project, Gadkari pointed to encroachment in Craddock Road.
“The road under Rob will widen and convert,” he said.
The minister subsequently announced to provide RS800 Crore to the Maharashtra government for road infrastructure under CRF.
Chairman of the Minister of Uddhav Thackeray, who led the function through video conferencing, praised Gadkari for his work.
However, he urged Gadkari to ensure that the biodiversity of the country should not be disturbed.
CM also seeks help by the Gadkari Ministry in strengthening existing infrastructure such as the old bridge, streets in Western Ghats etc.
He asked Gadkari to work on the strengthening of road infrastructure to stop repeated hole problems in the state.
Minister of PWD Ashok State Chavan suggested connecting Marathwada with a bullet train project.
Minister of Energy and Ministers of District Guard Nitin Raut ensured all possible assistance for the NH PWD division to build a four pathway in the forest corridor of the Bramhapuri stretch.
At Gadkari’s request, Raut said that he would get a nod of the State Forest Department for this project.
Previously, the Ministry of Forestry had rejected the proposal and vice versa giving permission for the two-way lane road which quoted it would disturb the corridor of wild animals.
The Mayor of Dayashankar Tiwari said that because Gadkari City efforts have witnessed the marine changes in terms of infrastructure development work, “which has reduced travel time significantly, not only in the city of Nagpur but the whole country”.
Tiwari also urged the Minister of Animal Husbandry of the Sunil State of the Square to provide RS100 Crore funds to NMC to develop Nandgram, which will limit the threat of livestock that is lost on the streets of the city.
