Panaji: At least 17 students from Goa Baged in Jee Advanced, the results stated on Friday.
Of these, around 15 have ranked according to 10,000 rankings throughout India.
This is the highest number of Goa to the bag of the ranking after 2000.
Ponda-Resident Harsh Khandeparkar, with the entire india 1,393 rank, has the most famous rating in Goa so far.
“I’m still hesitant about the river.
But I am interested in pursuing the flow of electrical engineering from one of the old IITs, if I pass,” Harsh said.
The next two ranks known so far from Goa are Agrajah Bhobe with 1,457 and Sairaj Ghosarwadkar with 1,800.
Also making cuts is the Swatit Rau Valaulicar at 3,026, Manali Manjarekar with 3,077, Ratan Doddalinganavar with 3,901, Joshua Dias Barreto with 4,142 and Kamsat rujula with 4,196.
These students are in the first 5,000 ranked in the country, and for the first time in many years, including two female students.
Most rankings for the country come from a single school, Mushifund Aryan high school, Cujira.
“The first three ranks were in 1,800 and the first eight in 4,200 from Mushifund Aryaan,” said Director Vyankatesh Prabhudesai.
