Nagpur: On Thursday, the Nagpur District Covid case saw a leap more than 600 from the previous day’s calculation and passed 2,000 marks for the first time in 303 days.
Cases were dipped in 1,732 on Friday before taking a leap more than 400 on Saturday to cross 2,000 more signs.
On Saturday, the district recorded 2,150 cases and one mortality of regional patients outside.
Before Thursday, the district had witnessed more than 2,000 cases in one day for the first time on March 13, 2021, when seven deaths also occurred when the second wave was established.
On March 13, 2021, one day jumping over the previous day was around 100 cases.
Also, it took around 29 days for the district to pass 2,000 cases after a daily calculation began to increase during the second wave.
But now, after the case began to increase from December 24, 2021, it only took 20 days to pass 2,000-marks.
During the first wave, 1,639 cases and 44 deaths on September 14, 2020, were the calculation of the highest-day single-day until the second wave began in mid-February 2021.
After crossing 2,000-mark on March 13, 2021, cases remained above this level to peak At 7,999 on April 24, 2021.
Therefore, the case surge continued for 42 days, collapsing the health care system.
The highest number of deaths was recorded on May 2, 2021, for a week after the district reached the second wavelight.
In January 2022, this district has so far recorded 12,738 cases detected from 1,36,776 tests and seven deaths.
It reached around 9.31% of the level of testicitivity (TPR), which was in decimal between July and December last year.
Compared to 100 in December, active cases are now soaring to 9,814.
However, according to the data of the district health office, only 2,150 in isolation or hospital.
