Foreign hands in Hijab Row: Minister of Karnataka

Udipi / Bengaluru: Muslim students at Government PU College for girls in Udupi Karnataka said the proposal to hold an online class for those who wanted to wear hijab could not be accepted by them.
MLA K Raghupati Bhat said on Wednesday that students did not want to let go of the hijab during classrooms on campus can choose online classes.
MLA, President of the College College Committee, has promised that universities will hold online classes for these students.
However, the students said they wanted to attend the offline class wearing a headscarf.
Agency Report said that Education Minister B C Nagesh and Bhat on Thursday was called the “International Conspiracy” incident.
The minister questioned why “such a problem arises only in several pockets of the country? The troop against the nation is behind this”.
Students, who are not allowed to attend the class wearing a hijab for almost a month, told reporters that “the hijab is our constitutional right.
We will go to college wearing a headscarf.
We don’t want a class online.
If we are rejected by our rights in Government Universities , how can we expect it in another college? Students of science among we will not be able to attend the lab clock if we are allowed to only do online classes “.
When told that there were other Muslim students who attended classes without headscarves, girls said they did it because they were afraid.
“They have expressed their moral support to us.
The hijab is as important as education for us,” said a student.
Mangaluru Mla Ut Khader said that this problem needs to be resolved by parents of girls.
“The headscarf problem should not affect their education.
It is up to college to make decisions about educational issues.
Let the parents resolve this problem,” he said.
