KABUL: Fifteen diplomatic missions and NATO representatives in Kabul joined their hands on Monday to urge the Taliban to stop military attacks in Afghanistan, just hours after a peaceful meeting in Doha failed to approve a ceasefire.
A senior delegation of Afghan leaders met with the Taliban political leadership in the Qatar capital for the past two days, but the Taliban statement issued at the end of Sunday did not mention the cessation of increased Afghan violence.
“Eid al-Adha, the Taliban must put their weapons forever and show the world of their commitment to the peace process,” said 15 missions and NATO representatives, referring to Muslim holidays Tuesday in Afghanistan.

This time there has been no announcement, because the Taliban made a quick territorial profit at the battle level which was almost unprecedented.
The rebels have been adhere to foreign forces approaching total withdrawals after 20 years of fighting.
Monday’s statement also condemned rights violations, such as efforts to close media and media clothing reported by the media in the newly arrested area by the Taliban, which previously denied the statement.
