Lucknow: The Ministry of Forestry will do at least seven runs dry throughout the agra-etawah ecotourism series to assess its infrastructure requirements.
Agra-etawah circuits are one of the nine odd ecotourism circuits that rise with great potential to attract nature tourists.
Starting from Walk Nature Taj, the circuit has Sur Sarovar Bird Sanctuary (Keetham Lake) in Agra, National Chambal Sanctuary, which is internationally recognized for Ghariyals and more than 300 bird species in Agra Regency and Etawah and Lion Safari in Etawah.
It runs dry, consisting of members of the tourism guild, hotel business people and private entrepreneurs will be carried out along the route at the end of the month.
This will help the department in assessing existing facilities and what can be done to make it more attractive to tourists.
ApCCF, Agra zone, Sunil Choudhary said, “We have been looking for a budget for dry runs from the forest corporation.
The dry walk will help us find out our strengths and weaknesses.” The Ministry of Forestry in July has organized the conclave in Agra to explore the possibility of developing ecotourism on the circuit.
Conclary has the participation of tourism guilds in addition to senior department officials.
This department plans two circuits between Agra and Etawah.
Someone will start from Taj and have the Keetham Lake and the Curmura Elephant Conservation and Care Center in Mathura and the others will begin in Agra and have the Chambal Holy Reserve and Safari Lion in the route.
