Forest guards were injured in an elephant attack

Coimbatore: A male elephant requires a team from the Forestry Department to try to chase him to the forest and encourage guards at Tholampalayam East Beat of PeriyanajickalPalayam Range on Sunday.
The guard escaped with a minor injury and was treated in a private hospital.
Elephant, around 25 years old, was seen in the land of the Patta near Tholampalayam.
Frontline staff from the forestry department reaches the place and starts driving away wild elephants to the reserve forest at night.
At 5:45 a.m., the elephant suddenly turned and began to charge towards the front line staff.
It encourages J Mohanraj, forest guards from Naickalalayam North Beat, who fall into a small hole and suffer minor injuries.
Antipoaching Watcher Senthilkumar fell on the ground while trying to escape from the elephant and suffered minor injuries.
Other frontline staff saved Mohanraj and Senthilkumar who were given first aid at the primary health center in Seeliyur.
Then, Mohanraj was diverted to a private hospital in Periyanacenickepalayam.Two More frontline staff members were sent to Tholampalayam to monitor wild elephants.
