Thiruvananthapuram: The Department of Transportation has gave sanctions on prosecution of a former employee of the commission of transportation that has been forgery to get an appointment with the Assistant Motor Vehicle Inspector (AMVI).
According to the order issued by the Department of Transportation, Sreehari S, a Kozhikode resident, while working as an officer in the Transportation of Compercial, committed a criminal violation by misusing his official position.
He entered the criminal conspiracy to get an appointment of illegal meeting as a motorized vehicle inspector per special rule that applies in the motor vehicle department.
Sreehari has gained illegally appointment as AMVI and joined the Regional Transportation Office, Thrissur in 2015.
Probe revealed that he illegally obtained the financial advantage of Rs 8.7 lakh as a salary and two-year allowances and committing criminal violations by misusing their official position and cheating government.
