Former Afghan warlords mobilized hundreds in Herat against the Taliban

KABUL: Former Mujahidin leader and senior member of the Jamaat-e-Islami party, Ismail Khan, whose militaries have helped US troops over the Taliban in 2001 on Friday urging party members to rise in weapons when rebel rebels continue to progress the country and Closed above the Herat fortress in the West.

Tolo News also reported that in the last 24 hours, the Taliban had captured at least eight more districts in Herat Province including Islamic Qala and Torghundi border city.
Abdul Latif, a resident of Herat Province stated that “the Taliban will see worse treatment of the community.
If they insist on fighting, we will take weapons, if they offer a friendship, we will show a similar movement”.
There was a fear of the full civil war when the Taliban stepped forward and took control of several districts in the country, while Afghan forces replied and launched a counter-attack on the Taliban.
This comes in the midst of withdrawal of foreign troops from the country hit by a war.
