Kalyan: Ex-Serviceman Pramod Marchande (51) lost Rs 4,86,939, all number in his bank account except one rupee, after he was cheated to download the Anydesk application.
Retired Naib Subarar, who lives in Badlapur with his wife and daughter, has played customer service numbers from a nationalized bank to seek help for online banking.
He has found an online number, and the person who receives a call identifying himself as Vijay Kumar.
Marchande told Tii, “I saved all pensions and Rs 3 lakh in FD for my daughter’s fee.
I don’t know how I will pay the cost now.”
