Ghaziabad: Household staff who are fired and “close family friends” who have a big loan to pay among the four people who were arrested in connection with the killing of the elderly pair, who was found dead at Patel Nagar’s house at night at the Dewali.
Ashok Zaidka (75) and his wife Madhu (73), who lived on the ground floor of their building, had been beaten to death with a hammer, police said.
The murder, police said, was executed by Sunder Kushwaha, who was a household staff at the couple’s house for 15 years but was sacked three months ago, and two friends from his village at Madhya Pradesh.
But the plan was allegedly hatched by Rohit Narula, the owner of the Motor Showroom who also managed the Ashok pharmaceutical business since he was 75 years old developing paralysis 20 years ago.
Pawan Kumar, SSP Ghaziabad, said Sunder fell with the couple after they told him to pay Rs 4,000 a month for the room they gave him to stay or look for another job.
Sunder begged the inability to pay money and was fired.
He began working as a daily wage worker and lived with his two friends – Atul Kumar and Aazad.
Narula, who realized Sunder revenge had breastfed his former employer for 15 years, allegedly inciting him to commit murder and take revenge.
He threw bait – promising to bear the marriage cost of the Sunder princess.
“While fired, Sunder allegedly did not pay money.
He was worried about how to make his daughter marry.
Rohit Narula promised to take care of it and incite him to kill the couple,” SP (City 1) Nipurn Aggarwal said.
But why does Narula, who runs his own business, wants Ashok and his wife killed? Agarwal explained: “There are two reasons for that.
First, Rohit Narula pays a loan RS 61 lakh along with interest taken from Ashok in 2008.
So far, he managed to pay back Rs 20 Lakh.

on Diwali, Sunder and his two friends blurred the first attempt to enter the couple’s house after they saw a group of young men exploding near the building.
About 15 minutes later, when the road was almost empty, they knocked on the door.
