Lucknow: The Central Investigation Bureau (CBI) has registered a case in the prevention of corruption, dishonesty, criminal violations and forgery of the former Examination (COE) Public Service Commission Uttar Pradesh (UPPSC) on Friday.
The central body has also ordered unknown people in this case.
The top government has recommended the CBI probe into the case on September 4, 2018.
The CBI team conducted a search operation on the Society Ansal Fire near the Shaheed path where the CE Prabhunath housing place was located.
The search continues until the last report comes.
A senior CBI Privy official for the probe said that Prabhunath and some of his subordinates have harassed their official position, producing an inappropriate election of candidates in the additional Personal Secretary (APS) exam in 2010.
The official said that UPPC had advertised 250 posts in 2010 for Direct recruitment through advertising.
The test results were stated in October 2017.
Allegedly that the rules violated and additional relaxation were given in the Shorthand Hindi test to support several candidates.
Although the commission in June 2015 has agreed to relaxing 5% errors in the Hindi stands, candidates, which have committed up to 8% of errors, also allegedly declared qualified for computer tests, expressed as the third phase of the examination.
In addition, the ad rules are also relaxed for several candidates.
“Even though the computer certificate submitted by several candidates was found forged, they were declared eligible by the Commission,” CBI official said.
During the CBI probe found that instead of 913 students, who qualified, then COE gave the name of 1,244 candidates as qualified.
“Part three gupatens also did not make Crosscheck Error dirty and did not cause objections.
It rather installed a list facing the decision taken by the Examining Committee in 2015,” added the CBI officers.
In addition, anomalies in evaluating the Hindi moins test and detected Hindi tests, CBI officials added.
