New Delhi: Former Information & Broadcasting and Higher Education Secretary Amit Khare has been appointed as Advisor to Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Khare has been appointed contracted for two years.
The IAS 1985-batch officer from Cadre Bihar-Jharkhand, Khare assumes secretary charges, the Ministry of Education (Department of Higher Education) in December 2019.
In a short time his appointment, 2020 national education policy was approved by the cabinet on July 29, 2020.
He has disappeared early in the month this.
