Former Manipur Congress Head Joins BJP

New Delhi: Former President of Congress Manipur Govedas Kontoujam joined BJP on Sunday.
He joined BJP in front of Manipur’s head minister n Biren Singh, Rajya Sabha MP Anil Baluni and parties responsible for State Sambit Patra.
Six times selected sequentially MLA from Bishnupur’s seat, Kontojam had withdrew from Congress a few days ago.
The decision of experienced leaders to join the Saffron Party will be a boost in front of assembly elections in the state early next year.
