Hyderabad: The case has been registered against Majeed Hussain, a former Mayor of Hyderabad for allegedly threatening police personnel and blocking them from carrying out their duties.
According to the police, this case has been registered under Section 353 of the Indian Criminal Code (Assault or Criminal Forces to prevent public servants from disposal of their duties).
Police on Wednesday said that Hussain signed a verbal sign with several people on land issues, threatening them.
“Senior leader Aimim Hussain signed verbally with several people on land issues and threatened them.
The Banjarahills police reached the place and when trying to take the situation to be control, he blocked the police to issue their duties,” the police added.
