Prajapati, who is Minister of Mining Department in the Akhilesh Yadav government, was arrested and sent to prison on March 15, 2017 concerning allegations of raping a woman and tried to rape her little daughter.
He has been in prison since then.
Prajapati also faced several probes in alleged mining fraud in the state during his tenure as minister.
He was given a guarantee once but was canceled by the high court immediately, before he could get out of prison.
HC has noted that there is a disappointment in giving guarantees.
Declaring Gayatri and the other two were guilty two days ago, a special judge said on Wednesday that prosecution had succeeded in proving his case without a doubt.
The court has found the three under the IPC section 376 (D) and 5 (g) read with section 6 of the Pocso Law.
However, the court released Vikas Verma, Roopeshwar, Amrendra Singh, aka a door, and chandrapal due to lack of evidence.
The prosecution has produced 17 witnesses in this case.
A senior police officer said that Ashish Shukla was the former aide of the minister, that he maintained his work in the state capital and also an important relationship with his constituents at Amethi.
On the other hand, Ashok Tiwari is a government officer posted as “Lekhpal” in Amethi Tehsil.
