Patna: Former Mla Prema Choudhary, who represents Pondepur (SC) three times sitting in Bihar assembly, Sunday out of JD (U), states that he is not given right “respect and position” in the party besides being rejected by party symbols to fight 2020 polls assembly.
Choudhary has been deserted by RJD and joined JD (U) on August 17, 2020, a few months before the assembly election, in the hope that JD (U) the leadership will give him a party symbol for a good contest from him sitting traditional Pondepage or neighbor Rajapakar (SC), well in Vaishali district.
However, he was not given JD (U) symbols for contests from each seat.
Choudhary on Sunday was invited by MediaPersons at his home in Hajipur and officially announced his decision to step down from JD (U).
Choudhary said Toi that he would return to RJD after one month.
