Lucknow: On another jolt for Congress in Uttar Pradesh, former Fatehpur MP and the UPCC Secretary General Rakesh Sachan joined the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), along with former minister and MLA four times Shivakant Ojha from the Jaalabad Party and Legislator Jalalabad SP Sharadvir Singh.
