Bhubaneswar: Former Deputy Admiral S H Sarma, a veteran from many wars and recipients of Param Vishisht Seva Medal, died here on Monday due to age-related disease.
He was 99.
Sarma lived in Bhubaneswar after retiring.
He survived two sons and two daughters.
Original Odisha served as the Flag Offic Commander, the East Fleet, during the 1971 war .
